When an entire person’s consciousness can get transferred to disk, I think backup will need to become more than just copying to a flash drive every week or two…

This strip was triggered by an article on the possibility of mistakenly identifying an exoplanet (planet outside our solar system). It got me thinking about the gamble to sign on for that mission to visit planet exo. It’s a long way to go and no way to call ahead.
