Nothing that we eat hasn’t been genetically altered, but most of us get a little freaked out believing that organic is better. After all, it says it’s organic right on the label. And it’s more expensive. So it has to be better, right?
I suppose it is within reason to question just how altered a food is, and it’s understandable that we might be concerned over pesticide and hormone use. Still, I haven’t grown a third arm, yet, so I guess they can keep irradiating that fruit coming up from Mexico. Because I love me them ripe strawberries all year long.
There’s certainly plenty of sources out there (and I lost the article that sparked this strip), but here’s one if you need a place to start.
